Hello parents! Welcome to Little Missionary's! A child peeks through a house built of magnetic tiles.We are the oldest non-sectarian nursery school in Manhattan, at 93 St. Marks Place. Two girls in tiaras play dress-up with a wand and a doll.Our purpose at Little Mish is to help children develop self-awareness, the key to emotional intelligence and individual growth. A teacher works with a boy lining up markers.Our enrichment programs build confidence and develop focus. A smiling girl in a painting smock does an art project.We have a wonderful community of parents and children from the East Village and beyond. Parents and children gather for a school event.

Play is the highest phase of child development ... It gives, therefore, joy, freedom, contentment, inner and outer rest, peace with the world.
